This is a 1992 A27 SC with a Cummins 6BT 210 hp and 523 hours located in Oakdale NY. Overheated the Cummins in July and the motor needs to be rebuilt or replaced. The motor meets the requirements for the Cummins Recon program so it can be replaced with a new one from Cummins with a warranty. It is literally a plug and play repower if you put in a Cummins Recon. With the 30yr old Cummins, I would cruise at 12-13 knots all day long on 4-10 hours trips in pretty much any weather. Max speed on GPS was 19.3 mph (16.5 kts).

Aside from the motor, everything works on the boat. All electronics work -- new 9" Garmin echoMap UHD installed the day before the motor overheated, Simrad autopilot (very useful), Furuno radar, Furuno fishfinder, Icom radio. All accessory equipment works as well -- Vetus bow thruster, Good windlass, fridge, microwave, freshwater pump for sinks and washdown, new head. Two new fuel tanks installed 3 years ago along with new fuel lines and new exhaust, new steering ram last year, two brand new batteries, bilge pump, stuffing box repacked this year. New Lumitec white/blue deck flood lights installed this summer. Bottom painted every year as well as detailed from top to bottom. Some unique features, besides the factory Cummins, are the huge tuna/transom door and lift rails just below the waterline.

Added some pics below. If interested, either send me a message or respond to this thread. Looking to get $15k and I'm open to offers.

Ths scuba pic was at democrat point by the rocks where it drops to 90 feet. By the way, don't drive between the shore and the pile of rocks that stick out, there are two submerged pilings that stick up in the middle but don't break the surface and are not marked on the gps. They're a few feet down but risky if a wave or wake rolls in.

Feel free to say hello if you see me on the boat which is currently being used for the fridge to keep drinks cool.

What a pretty little boat! I didn't know that this model existed. Such a bummer on the engine.

Boat has been sold through criagslist - posted it Friday evening, sold it on Tuesday. Accepted less than asking due to it needing a very expensive motor so I was reasonable. I'm sure the new owner will find his way to this website one day.

Nice. I figured she'd be gone in no time ..... I was tempted to buy her and repower for my dad but my plate is full.
