I am the happy new owner of an Albin 36. When going through the boat, I found this plaque on the for bulkhead. Do any of you have insights as to what this is?

That is the boat documentation number. It is issued by the Coast Guard. Did you buy it privately or go through a broker? If you google Coast Guard Vessel Documentation you can get more info.

Thanks for the information! I am purchasing it from a private individual who owns the boatyard it is in.
