Andrew are you still checking this thread?
We would like to come out and meet everyone and stay the evening of June 9, should I call and make reservations for myself at the boat basin or are we doing it as a group, if so where do I send a check? Denis

There are many hotels etc. Check for a room at Champlins Marina, they have a motel right in the same harbor we will be going to. Denis
Denis,
Sounds like a plan. What brand of beer should I bring or should I guess?

Hi all:

Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. Late last week, I forwarded a copy of the reservation form for upload on to the site.

Unfortunately, it was faxed to me and I scanned the fax and was only able to save as an excel document. Point being, the document may not be legible.

If it works great. Otherwise, I will post the contact info I have.

I suggest making reservations as early as possible. I still need to figure out where I am going to get a boat from (if you can believe that).

Looks like there is some enthusiasm for this and as a first attempt, I will be happy with whatever we get.

Pass the word.

Thanks,

Andrew @ Albin

Haven't seen a form, can you just post contact info? I would like to get my check in ASAP.

Thanks for posting the info Jack. I tried calling a couple of times last week to see if there was anything specific we should do to get grouped together - no answer. Guess it's slow season! I'll be calling again today, Kathy and I will be there.

albin rendezvous June 2008

Post by Ray Morley »

Now that my Albin is set for sea and I am comfortable with my boat I will commit to the 2008 rendezvous on Block Island for 2008. Where do I send my check.

Bought my TE 28 in Maine last April. Normal problems, air filters clogged, leaky seal on salt water intake, took us much of the summer to become comfortable. However we made many trips to Stilwagen Bank (150) from Gloucester Harbor (6-8 miles) till you see the whales and we saw many. Learned our boat well, and am now ready for the great adventure.
