NE AOGers!

Post a reply if you're interested in attending the 2008 NE AOG Rendezvous.

A location and date hasn't been selected yet (see the Location, location, location post for details) but I though we'd try and gather "high level" interest information to help us plan.

Likely dates are at either end of the summer (June and/or September) which helps with cost and availability and we'll try and pick a location that's relatively central to those who plan on coming. Right now I expect we'll plan one more formal event (June) with a September event if there's demand.

John, Mariner - we'll make sure there's a hotel nearby in case you want to "tag along"!

So let us know what you think. The boats will be going back into the water before you know it!!!

Count my wife and I in. We're on Boston Harbor at a marina with a pool, hotel and several restaurants. (Constitution Marina). We're happy to host or motor south.

With this much notice there is no reason why I can't commit. Can't say I'll make it by water but it would be a good trip.

Sharon and I will be there! Count us in. I'll bring some door prizes.

Let me put my 2 cents in. We'd love to attend . For us it would mean two days to and two days back from Block Island. At the beginning and end of summer the weather isn't quite as stable as it is in the middle of summer, which might mean an additional layover in various ports to lay out the weather. I'd prefer July ( with a few thunderstorms to deal with) even if it means a few more bucks for slip costs etc.

If all works out okay with dates and all, maybe we can take this trip together!

I can't believe we didn't see each other last year! Didn't go to Watch Hill at all. Very strange, but we decided to stay closer to home for the most part anchoring out. Next year will hopefully be different!

glad to hear another rendezvous is being considered. count us in,john and marcia mach, 31 joint venture.. suggest mystic seaport or essex island marina or mitchell park marina greenport.
