Anyone have the Raymarine autopilot with ev-1 heading sensor? I’m looking for best location on a 28te,?

It can be a challenge because there is SO MUCH STUFF on this boat. We ended up mounting my Garmin heading sensor under the port side dinette compartment. It was the location that was far enough from opposing magnetic forces to work right.

Mine is located under the drivers seat. Not sure if they removed the read draws to get it up in there. Seems like a odd location to me but I will not be moving it.
