My 31 TE is now on the hard and I am starting to go through it to learn everything. On the port and starboard sides outboard, in the engine room up high, are a set of 4 tubes. Maybe 2" diameter each. Not connected to anything. The ends are accessed by the small locking hatches, the angled ones. (see photo) What are these things? I thought maybe lockable fishing rod storage, but I am not sure they are long enough? I'll take a photo with the hatch open next time down at the boat if it's not clear what I'm taking about.

OK. That's what I was thinking. weird in that they seem deliberate for something, especially since they are behind locking hatches.
