I'm repairing / re fastening some of the curtain rod holders inside.
The screws used are only 1/4" and don't have much "bite".
By the specs on the window rubber in another thread here, it sounds like the FRP cabin thickness around the window areas is 3/16".
Is this correct? I don't want to use screws that are too long!!!

It is my understanding... You sould try making an Epoxy glue bed for the plastic holder...
