Hi All
Would it be possible to open a topics category related to EVENTS scheduled or happening in local harbors so we can plan our excursions accordingly.? This can be divided generically or geographically for ease of planning ie : Northeast region, Central States etc.. ? Cinquo de Mayo, Blessing of the Fleet, Juneteenth , Harbor Bash etc..
I sure would like to see posts from other AOG to let me know if some interesting event is planned , what dates and times, what subject or holiday etc.. if others feel the same maybe this could be done ?

That's a good idea. We do have a section called Rendezvous with sub-sections for Chesapeake, Northeast, and Pacific Northwest. I think what you're suggesting is more for events being held by towns, harbors, etc. versus Albin-specific rendezvous.
How about if I set up a section called Local Events? And I'll rename the Rendezvous section as Rendezvous and Events.

George, I am also at safe Harbor Sakonnet and I think we ran into each other last fall practicing docking in Bristol Harbor.
I was practicing on my new to me Albin 32+2 and we had some radio contact warning each other about the ferry. I tried to private message you, but it said that you have not enabled PMs .
You can try to private message me if you’d like. I’ve been at safe Harbor Sakonnet for eight years now and have lots of good things to say about it. We have a nice group of boaters that share trips, events, excursions, and things to do in and around the bay. We’d love to have you join us.
