Hi Stephen, long time no see! How are you & Andrea doing? What happened to your Carver aft cabin? Where are you now? Back home in Sharbot Lake? Rick A in Seattle, aka "WillieC", sold his A25 earlier this year & now has a Nordic Tug 26. A sling davit rig like this would be perfect for him. For us, we never did do the Triangle Loop & Rideau Canal. Closest we came was half of the Erie Canal from Tonawanda to Baldwinsville & Lake Onondaga in 2021. No future plans for east coast "DA" road trips. May sell our La Dolce Vita next year after one last Pacific NW cruise, will be 10th anniversary of A25 ownership. But that's all TBD. Meanwhile staying home in the 115* F (46C) desert heat this summer, back & forth between inside air conditioning & the back yard pool. Will always have fond memories of our visit in 2017 & the ride around the Thousand Islands. Albineers are the best people!!

PS, if it weren't for the narrow stern & resultant overhanging ends down low these sling davits would be perfect for an A25. But they would work for anything with at least an 8 ft wide transom like an A27 or a classic A36 trawler.

Hi Steve! Good to hear from you. We sold the Riv a few weeks ago. I finally retired (today) and the slip and storage fees are a rich man's game - or the game of a man with income! To say nothing of fuel costs for twin V8s. Our plans are up in the air except to sit back for a minute and assess things. We have been focused on Portugal for the past few years, so that is under consideration. The main point was just to get the damn office closed and he phones off the hooks! So we are trying to downsize big time.

We use the harbormen marine slings on a A25. We had to order it in a narrow version. The regular one was to wide. Super happu with it and our Mercury dinghy
