Hi Ron -- From what I know of your boat, she should sell quickly. Looking forward to seeing photos.

Great photos, Ron and Charma, with lots of nice custom features. I love the dish rack. Looks like it grew there.

Question: in the stateroom above the freezer, what is the white box attached to the base of the upper cabinet?

Hi Ron,
Your boat is a super-nice and very well maintained example of the 35CB so I hope she sells quickly. I appreciate the time you have spent keeping her safe and sound and want to thank you for giving me some really good info on the upkeep , including that system to fresh water flush the exhaust system . I have since been able to acquire a very nice 2001 Albin 35TE here closer to my own homeport and am currently awaiting final paperwork to complete the transaction, so we won't get to meet this time, but I look forward to making the jaunt down the Intercoastal and across the swamp to visit sometime in the future.
Best of Luck with that beautiful boat of yours.

Ron,
If the boat is not sold, you might try listing it with Brewer Yacht Sales -- Dave Mckenney in Wickford RI or with Ken Hilton at Standish Boatyard in Tiverton RI. The Albins were all built here in Portsmouth and there is certainly a strong demand locally for a good one like yours. The brokers are all able to arrange a remote sales video viewing or a facetime viewing of the boat with you as host. My guess is that a boat transport company would probably charge about $15,000 . to ship the boat to the Northeast, plus survey, haulout and launching costs . ( Those are guestimates only ) Your boat seems like a rare opportunity so it might be worth while for someone to go the extra mile for a good boat.

Thanks you, George for the follow up and info. We have an interested party who has stated that they wish to buy our CB35. Now, we will find out.
I do appreciate the information on the brokers you recommend. At least we'll be able to show her through the winter months, without crawling under a cover.
It's a shame you haven't had much time to get to know your new to you Albin.

Hi Ron,
Glad to see your comments. We are still cruising with the new boat, and my wife and I, both seniors, are enjoying having the added space a lot. The weather has certainly changed around here as it was in the mid 60's all weekend when the sun is out dropping to mid-40's at night. The local kids are hauling in many tautogs , bluefish and mackerel all along the Bay and diesel prices are steady.
I found myself docked at one of the Safe Harbor Marinas last year after docking at a well known local marina where the boat was in jeopardy, so the new boat is now safely ensconced at the Bristol Maritime Center here in Bristol Harbor. I will be back at Safe Harbor Sakonnet next spring and cannot speak highly enough of their facilities and very courteous service and dock staff. These guys really go the extra mile.
Happy Trails and hope to say howdy in the spring.
