Summer Cruising in FL

Post by Bidgood »

One of the lesser know things about cruising SW Florida in the summer is that almost everyone has returned north. We we overnighting at Cabbage Key, a popular spot in Pine Island Sound, and we were the only ones there. The food was good and there was a lot of peace and quiet. Oh, in all fairness we were not exactly the only ones there.......on the key there were millions of mosquitoes. The harbor was pleasantly devoid of them. I'll post more of the summer's wanderings here.

greetings from the Old family place in the Pocono Mountains, Tom, 53 degrees this AM. Cabbage looks pretty nice and I miss the boat. See you in March at Cape Harbor.
