Today is the first day this month the high temp is above freezing. High in the upper 40s for the rest of the week. Spring is on it's way!

Heh. The last few days here have been unusually cold for this time of year. In the mid-40's.

February is usually our snowy month. Not this year. Just a coating if ice about 1-2 inches thick on everything for the last couple of weeks. The roads are o.k. but side streets, side walks, etc. are dicey at best. Since I have dogs the yard is coated with ice AND brown land mines all over the place.

This morning was the first time in weeks that we had double digit temperatures when I left for work. Suposed to get into the mid 40's today so maybe some of the ice in the driveway will melt.
My snowblower, which worked perfectly in August, broke on me during last week's storm (fixed now) so I had a mess for a few days.
I'm thinking that this year when we turn the clocks ahead March 11th it will start to feel like boating season is comming.....finally!

It's been pretty cold in Miami the past two weeks as well. On Saturday, I put the heat on for the first time in 3 years. I do sometimes miss winter in the NE though.

Hmmm....my complaints are nothing compared to the folks that live in upstate New York. They had 6-10 FEET of snow this year.
